This housing project aims to provide 14 secure and comfortable living units for elders of the Gitanyow First Nation. The development is split over two levels and contains a mix of one and two-bed units, with almost 50% designed to accessibility standards. The prominent form and use of local cedar in the exposed structural elements aim to provide an efficient density while sticking to the vernacular forms and materials.
